Road Work

I am endlessly entertained by what I see as I go through life: the way man marks his space to claim it and what happens visually as a result; the camera’s ability to extract and record the collision of objects and situations is what I respond to. I travel a fair amount; sometimes to interesting places sometimes not, but always pictures seem to be hovering. My pictures result in unexpected, incongruous, often ironic juxtapositions and relationships. My photography is about observation; color, detail, relationships, and layering. Entertainment is a major component. I am a visual anthropologist.
